Timber Wave at The V and A Museum London
If you’re keeping up with hot projects at London Design Week, you’ve likely heard of the 12-m-high wooden installation in front of the Victoria & Albert Museum.
Made entirely of American red oak, the interlocked structure forms a massive spiral that covers the entranceway. As the project’s architect Amanda Levete explains in the above video, it was a challenge to cover the giant museum entrance with a self-supporting structure.
