Earl Grey and Rose – Streatham

I love discovering hidden gems and whilst working in Streatham recently I have found a few.

The first one I want to tell you about is Earl Grey and Rose situated only two minutes walk from Streatham Hill station but hidden away on Streatleigh Parade (see the Google map link below).

Owner Lydia Wood-Power has created a vintage haven in a busy town, her attention to detail is really superb from the outside in there are so many great touches to notice and oh and argh at.

But this is not just a tea room its a store and workroom to, Lydia runs sewing classes and you can even rent a sewing machine by the hour. I have to say I  had the best cup of tea I have had in years served in quirky miss matched china followed by a yummy cupcake.
