A good freind of mine popped along to the vibrant up and coming Redchurch St on the weekend and discovered a fab new coffee shop, Gallery and Store aptly called “Cafe And”.
The name is perfect and sums up a place to shop, meet and eat. It has a clean contemporary feel with a sprinkling of quirky details.
Here are a few snaps of the interior to wet your appetite, want more why not pop along and see for yourself.
They have a really lovely web design click here to take a peek at it.
Zizzi the restaurant chain owned by the Pizza Express group recently opened up their new One New Change branch.
The restaurant has a complete new modern look, but they have kept their wood stack trademark, but only in a small way.
The walls are adorned with artworks designed and hand painted onto the walls by
Zizzi have run a competition called Fresh Talent for a while now. working alongside The Princes Trust to promote young new talent.

I found this fabulous Cafe come workshop whilst on my way to meet a client.
The exterior made me stop and stare I didn’t know what it was at first sight.
But after an investigation I found a really great bike themed Cafe and workshop.
I use the word Themed but it’s not its more than just a themed Cafe, it is packed with people who adore their bikes.
The design has grown out of the love of the bike and everything that goes with it.
They have literally used every part of the bike in their displays.
If your up in the Islington area I highly recommend a visit even if you’re not a bike lover.
And if you are get on your bike and cycle on up.
Really strong branding
Bikes have been used in the windows as supports for their own home-grown tomatoes.
Love the flower pots with handles that you can secure your bicycle to.
The interior is an eclectic mix of vintage finds and simple modern furniture.
I love this display using bike handle bars
These vintage clip letters are used to great effect as a menu

Petersham Nurseries, owned by Gael & Francesco Boglione, is set at the foot of their home, Petersham House, at the base of Richmond Hill. To save this local nursery from the clutches of the circling developers and multinational garden centres, the garden-loving Bogliones bought the run-down business and in doing so reunited the original Petersham House estate, separated for over 30 years. After extensive restoration work was undertaken, it re-opened in 2004 utterly transformed; a magically, whimsical place in the most idyllic of surroundings.
