Highgrove Shop Tetbury – Spring set up by International Visual

After our successful Christmas store set up for the Highgrove estate store, we were asked back to give the store a layout and merchandising refresh for spring.

We used lots of apple crates to give height on fixtures and for holding large amounts of products under fixtures. They are very versatile and can be used in many ways. If you would like to buy apple crates from us please contact ph@internationalvisual.com

Jo Malone – New interior design

Nice to see the Jo Malone shopfit design moving on, even if only slightly.

I like the introduction of real plant/flowers installations, loving this huge stone trough.

Sonia Rykiel – new store design London

Sonia Rykiel has refitted her London store in a library theme and using a very bold red which contrasts brilliantly against the black store facade.

Tops Tiles Boutique Store West Dulwich

Tops Tiles have been expanding all over the country on the back of over a 5% sales increase last year.

But they are not only opening large out of town retail units, they have now created a boutique version of their brand, these small intimate stores are all situated in more affluent areas and have been given a really great look.

Habitat unveils new look concept store

Habitat has launched its 35th and largest new Mini Habitat store in Chichester. The 520 sq m concept store is the largest to be opened by the brand since it started rolling out its Mini Habitat project in Homebase stores in 2012.

The space will showcase a new retail concept developed by Polly Dickens, creative director at Habitat; Graham Copeland, creative manager and in-house designer Matthew Long. The store design includes bespoke fixturing designed to enhance the sense of space and light and uses digital technology to create an immersive store environment for customers by incorporating interactive touch screens and video walls. New features include bold, checkerboard flooring, a statement chair wall featuring best-selling designs, a large gallery space and a bold cash desk design.

‘The Mini Habitat project has allowed us to extend our physical presence across the whole of the UK making us more accessible than ever with 38 different store locations,’ says Clare Askem, managing director of Habitat. ‘These stores have supported strong sales growth for us and this year we’re looking to continue this expansion meaning that customers are able to interact with Habitat products and staff more conveniently in locations stretching from Cornwall up to Scotland.

‘As our digital business continues to grow, we’re seeing that there is still a demand from consumers for physical showrooms that allow interaction with product before purchase and allow shoppers to immerse themselves in a Habitat environment. Spar head of retail Ian Taylor tackled the difficult question of what convenience store customer want, and how that shapes store design, during his conference session at Retail Design Expo.

“What does the customer want from a convenience store? Not surprisingly, they want everything,” he told conference delegates. “They want convenience, whether that is car parking or opening hours; they want value for money, that’s very important. And local products are now playing an ever increasing part in our store design and layout.”

Bottega Veneta – Heathrow Terminal 5

Another new store in T5 is Bottega Veneta and the entrance has fins running floor to ceiling that take inspiration from plane wings.

The window has a very simple floating box system with excellent spot lighting.

Louis Vuitton – Heathrow Terminal 5

The Heathrow Terminal 5 shopping area has been undergoing some major changes over the last few months, one of the first new stores to open is Louis Vuitton which is the anchor store at the luxury end of the shopping area.

The first thing you see is this huge LED screen which has some amazing graphics playing on it.
