Selfridges Christmas windows 20104 – Destination Christmas
Once upon a time there was a shop named Selfridges, with the most enchanted windows in the land… see our Oxford Street windows first, as we welcome you to #DestinationChristmas http://bit.ly/1sblbJS
Aesop Marylebone High Street London
Aesop have opened in Marylebone High Street in London with a simple and inventive interior and window scheme.
I love the simple wooden ladder system they have used both for shopfitting and in the window, it really is simple but very effective and ajustable. It lets the product be the hero.
I also like the way the interact with and entice the customer in by putting a sample bottle of their various hand lotions in a dispenser on the door frame.
The first thing that greets you on entering the store is an amazing array of fresh flowers which look and smell fabulous, its lovely to see a retailer doing this rather than instantly hitting you with special offers or buy me messages.
As usual their team members are very friendly and have superb product knowledge.
Budapest – Snapshots
Ive just come back from a city break to Budapest, its koan for its thermal spas but I was also amazed how things can change so quickly, i was there exactly a year ago and so many new businesses have sprung up.
There are two streets i would like to share with you one is called Dob Ucta and the other Kiraly Ucta, both have a strong feel of Shoreditch and Brick Lane in London.
Clarks Autumn windows Regent Street London
Clarks windows have come a long way in the last few years, I’m not sure who is coming up with their creative ideas but they are doing a great job. Their new A/W window scheme on Regent Street looks great, each window has a slightly different theme but all pulled together by using vintage picture frames.
Penhaligon’s – Iris Prima Store Windows
Penhaligon’s store windows are Ballet themed for the launch of their new perfume Iris Prima!
Iris Prima, the new scent from Penhaligon’s, is a work of olfactory choreography, with Iris Absolute in the role of Prima Ballerina.
Hubbard’s Cupboard shop front – Cardiff
Love this shopfront for a great little vintage store in the Castle Arcade in Cardiff, the owner has added so many nice little features that helps it stand out from other stores by giving it a personal hand-made feel which compliments the vintage products its selling.
Anthropologie USA Summer Windows 2013
Let’s go to Greece, shall we? Anthropologies new windows are set to transport you there—to the isles of timeless calm and postcard-perfect beauty. Every inch of these ancient landscapes inspired us this season—from the whitewashed cube homes carved into the hills to the turquoise sparkle of the Aegean Sea—while their palette of whites, creams and blues feels so simple, so crisp, so refreshingly serene amidst the vibrant shades of summer.
Atelier Abigail Ahern
It makes such a difference to the high street when stores dress the exterior of their shops
Atelier Abigail Ahern always has a fabulous display outside her store in Islington, this time a cute doggy in a fab floral display.
I really wish more stores would dress to impress their customers and help make the high streets more visually appealing.
