Bermondsey St Coffee
This tucked away coffee shop sits about five minutes walk from London Bridge station, down the cute parade of shops and boutiques which Bermondsey Street has turned into.
It used to be part of a chain but for the last couple of years its been run independently and has turned into a really trendy local Cafe attracting the creatives among us.
I love the Cafe signage which is hand painted using a vintage font
The interior is a real mix of vintage, recycled and contemporary pieces.
I love the “I exist despite you” neon sign on the doodle wall.
The ceiling lamp shades are made from empty plastic coffee cups which have been stapled together.
I wish more coffee shops were like this and had this eclectic local design it makes life more fun and allows individual design to shine through.
Also the coffee is really great to.
Loft Design By
Patrick Freche the designer has chosen to embrace the natural structure of the store. He has created a modern clean store with a vintage twist, cleverly mixing the old and the new to create an open store that feels warm and cosy yet light and bright.
The store sells a range of Women’s and Men’s clothing and accessories with a hint of home thrown into the mix.
